UstarPay Visa Card: USDT Spending, Fees And Cashback
What is UstarPay card?
UstarPay is a USDT-funded Visa card from a newly formed Hong Kong company, built for stablecoin holders who want everyday crypto card payments without a bank conversion step.

UstarPay card Overview
UstarPay is a new PayFi wallet and Visa card combo. It lets you turn USDT into a Visa payment without a separate bank off-ramp first. Version one is built around one job: hold stablecoins, spend them at Visa merchants through a virtual card, and skip the usual two-step exchange-to-bank-to-card path. The app also shows BTC, ETH, and SOL balances, so a broader wallet is clearly planned, but spending in the first release runs through USDT.
The card suits people who already live on-chain. Freelancers paid in USDT, remote workers, and frequent travelers who want a Visa number for online checkout and mobile wallets are the obvious fit. Small teams that want to issue branded cards later are also part of the plan, through an API-style issuance route mentioned in official posts. If you don't hold stablecoins and don't want to deal with KYC, this card gives you little that a normal debit card doesn't.
Funding works through a USDT deposit into the app wallet, after account checks and KYC. A swap function lets you convert other listed assets into USDT inside the app. Once funded, you open a virtual Visa card, top it up from your balance, and spend online or add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay where your device and region allow it. The company describes settlement as near-instant, with routing and liquidity handled behind the card. None of that removes the network fee you pay when you deposit crypto on-chain, and it doesn't replace checking the in-app fee screen before you commit real money.
What sets UstarPay apart from an older-style crypto prepaid card is the layer behind the tap: identity checks, transaction routing, and activity logging that the company frames as a full payment stack, not just a card. It also leans hard on USDT-first spending, which avoids the volatility problem you get funding a card with BTC or ETH directly. On the other side, this is a young product. The Hong Kong entity behind it was only incorporated in January 2026, the consumer app launched at the end of July 2026, and there's no long public fee table or years of chargeback history to check against. A Canadian MSB claim and Visa positioning are the strongest trust signals published so far, but I'd treat every number, from cashback to issuance fees, as something to confirm live in the app rather than take from marketing copy. Send a small test deposit first. That's the only way to see the real spread and confirm what actually lands on your card.
UstarPay card Key features
-
Virtual Visa card
Eligible users open a virtual Visa card inside the app after identity checks pass, and it works at online checkout right away. Official posts mention Apple Pay and Google Pay support, though this depends on your device and region.
-
USDT deposit and spend
You top up USDT and spend that balance at Visa merchants, so a stablecoin holder skips a separate bank conversion step. This is the only funding path confirmed for the first version.
-
Wallet overview
The app shows balances, recent activity, and account settings in one screen. Marketing mockups also display BTC, ETH, and SOL, though card funding in v1 stays USDT first.
-
In app swap
You can swap crypto into USDT inside the app to move value into your spendable balance. UstarPay does not publish exact pairs or spreads, so check the live app before you rely on a rate.
-
P2P send and receive
The platform advertises near zero fee transfers between users and fast value movement. This sits in the wallet layer, separate from whatever the card network charges on a purchase.
-
Card management and activity log
You can review transactions, freeze the card, and adjust settings from the app. The same records feed UstarPay's own compliance and reconciliation work.
-
Identity and security controls
The App Store listing cites passkeys, device security, and identity verification. KYC and AML checks are mandatory to use the card, not an optional add on.
-
Referral and campaign rewards
Past X campaigns have waived the card issuance fee for winners and paid small USDT credits, plus a referral of 3 USDT per qualifying friend up to a cap. These are time limited promotions, not standing rates, so do not treat them as the base fee schedule.
-
Compliance and routing backend
Company posts describe identity checks, rule based payment screening, and reporting running behind every tap or checkout. UstarPay frames this as what separates it from a plain prepaid card program.
-
Canadian MSB registration
Company materials cite a Canadian MSB licence, and some longer posts also reference US MSB positioning. Verify the current licence text and country list on UstarPay's official channels before you fund the card, since this research did not find an independently audited confirmation.
UstarPay card Fees
-
Card issuance fee The virtual card has an issuance fee in the base product, since official giveaways specifically waive it for winners, but the actual amount is not published.
-
Demo network fee A site demo of a card payment shows a USDT to USD conversion near 1 to 1 and a network fee line of $0.00, but this is a settlement view example, not a confirmed price.
-
On-chain deposit cost Depositing USDT costs whatever the blockchain network charges, not a UstarPay fee, and that amount depends on the chain you pick.
-
Unpublished FX and other fees FX or cross border markups, ATM fees for a future physical card, decline fees, and replacement fees are not laid out in any single public fee table so far.
-
Referral reward A campaign has paid 3 USDT per qualifying friend, up to a cap, once the friend finishes KYC, but this is a promotional reward, not a standing fee or rate.

How to use UstarPay card
-
Download the official app
Get the UstarPay app from the store listing under USTAR GLOBAL TECH LIMITED, or follow the link from the official site or X account. Avoid unofficial links, since unrelated scam sites use similar names.
-
Create your account
Sign up with your email or phone number and set a strong password. Add a passkey if the app offers one.
-
Complete KYC
Upload the ID documents the app asks for based on your region and wait for approval. KYC is mandatory before you can fund or spend, and access also depends on your country being on the regulated list.
-
Deposit USDT
Open the wallet view and generate the deposit address for the network the app shows. Send a small test amount first, confirm it lands, then send the rest, since sending USDT on the wrong network causes permanent loss.
-
Issue your virtual card
Go to the card tab and follow the issue flow. There is a base issuance fee unless a campaign code waives it, so check for an active promo before you pay.
-
Fund the card and pay
Top up the card from your USDT balance, then add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay if your device and region support it. Use it for your first online checkout or tap payment, then check the activity feed to confirm the charge matches the merchant amount.

UstarPay card Review
Pros
- Depositing USDT lets a user spend at Visa merchants without a separate bank off-ramp step first.
- The virtual card activates fast, so it works for online checkout right after KYC clears.
- The app puts wallet balance, activity, and card controls in one place instead of splitting them across two apps.
- Official campaigns have waived the card issuance fee and added small USDT credits for early activations.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay support means the card can sit in a phone wallet once your device and region allow it.
- A named Hong Kong company and a cited Canadian MSB license give the launch more paper trail than an anonymous card project.
- The swap function lets a BTC or ETH holder convert into a spendable USDT balance inside the same app.
Cons
- The full fee schedule for FX, ATM use, declines, and replacements is not published anywhere yet.
- The virtual card carries an issuance fee outside of promo campaigns, and the amount is not disclosed.
- Cashback shown in demo screenshots is not confirmed as a permanent published rate.
- The company was incorporated on 12 January 2026, so there is no multi-year track record on chargebacks or support.
- App Store reviews are too few to show a rating, and most X activity is campaign replies rather than real spend reports.
- Regional access depends on KYC approval and an unpublished country list, so eligibility can block users after signup.
- Card funding in version one only works with USDT, so holders of BTC, ETH, or SOL must swap first inside the app.
- A physical card and higher spending limits are only described in vision posts, not confirmed as day-one features.
Our verdict
UstarPay is real, but it's early. The company was formed in January 2026 and the card only launched in July 2026. There is a virtual card issuance fee baked into the base product, we know that because official giveaways waive it. Beyond that, UstarPay does not publish a full fee table: no clear FX markup, no ATM cost, no decline fee list. So the real all-in cost is unknown, and the cashback shown in demos is not a confirmed permanent rate. I would only carry this if I already hold USDT and want a fast Visa checkout path, and only after a small test deposit to see the actual spread. I would change my mind with a published fee schedule and a year of real chargeback and review data, not another press release.
Is UstarPay card safe & legit?
UstarPay is run by USTAR GLOBAL TECH LIMITED, a Hong Kong company set up on 12 January 2026, which files it under the early side rather than an established issuer. The card balance is not self-custody: you deposit USDT into the app's wallet and spend from that pooled balance, and the company says it uses multi-signature and cold/hot wallet separation, though none of that is independently audited yet. The main red flag isn't fraud, it's youth: the app launched 30 July 2026, holds a Canadian MSB claim that users should verify themselves, and has no public fee table or dispute history yet, so treat it as a small-test-deposit product, not a place to park savings.
