MySudo Card Overview

MySudo Card Key features

• Virtual Mastercard number

  Each card has its own 16-digit number, CVV, and expiry date for US online and phone checkout. The card lives inside the MySudo app.

• Real card masking

  Purchases use one linked US debit or credit card as the funding source. Merchants do not see that card number, and the statement commonly shows a MySudo transaction line.

• Separate shopping cards

  You can create and label cards for different Sudos or spending areas, such as shopping and bills. A leak on one card does not expose your other card numbers.

• Closeable card numbers

  You can close a virtual card in the app to stop future charges on that number. Closing the card does not cancel a merchant subscription.

• Spend limits

  Support lists a maximum of $250 per transaction and $350 per day across cards, before fees.

• Online checkout only

  The cards work with US merchants that accept Mastercard debit and charge in US dollars. They do not support in-store tap payments, foreign currency, or international merchants.

• US identity check

  Paid-plan users must complete a US identity check with a legal name, residential address, and date of birth. Some users must upload a government ID.

• Restricted categories

  Support lists declines for gambling, money transfers, foreign exchange, securities, adult services, firearms, alcohol, telemarketing, and other categories.

• Transaction fee

  Each approved transaction adds 2.99 percent of the purchase plus $0.31. Declined attempts do not incur this fee.

• Paid plan required

  Virtual cards require a paid MySudo plan. SudoFree does not include cards, and creating a virtual card has no separate create fee.

• Fiat funding only

  The card uses a traditional US debit or credit card as its funding source. It has no crypto top-up, stablecoin rail, supported blockchain, or on-chain payment option.

• Bank-issued card

  Sutton Bank issues the cards under a Mastercard license, and Marqeta powers processing. Anonyome Labs makes the MySudo app but is not a bank.

• No chargeback desk

  MySudo does not handle chargebacks for card purchases. You must resolve delivery or purchase problems with the merchant.

MySudo Card Fees

• Card creation fee Creating a virtual card has no create fee.
• Subscription plans Cards require a paid plan because SudoFree does not include cards; published plan prices range from near $0.99 to about $14.99 per month, with SudoPro listed at about $49.99 per year and SudoMax at about $149.99 per year.
• Transaction fee Each approved completed transaction adds 2.99% of the purchase amount plus $0.31, while declined attempts have no fee.
• Split shipment fees Each approved charge from a split shipment gets its own 2.99% fee plus $0.31.

How to use MySudo Card

1. 1

   Set up MySudo

   Install MySudo from the App Store or Google Play, then create or choose a Sudo on a paid plan. Open Virtual Cards in the app.

2. 2

   Verify your identity

   Complete the US identity check with your legal name and date of birth, plus your residential address. Upload a government ID if prompted.

3. 3

   Link your funding card

   Add one US billed debit or credit card and complete any bank 3DS check. You pay through this linked card rather than a prepaid balance; you cannot fund purchases with crypto or a prepaid card.

4. 4

   Create your virtual card

   Tap create card and enter a label and the name you want on the card. Add a valid, deliverable US billing address.

5. 5

   Make your first payment

   At a US merchant's online or phone checkout that accepts Mastercard debit in USD, enter your virtual card number and expiry, plus the CVV and the same billing address. Keep the purchase within $250 per transaction and $350 per day across cards before fees, and budget 2.99% plus $0.31 for each approved completed transaction.

6. 6

   Check your transaction

   Open Transaction Details to confirm the charge. Expect a pending status for one to three business days at many merchants.

  I use @MySudoApp for multiple anonymous phone and email addresses. They've got a 1 phone/SMS number deal for $20 a year right now. Great for rando vendors snd forms. Keeps most spam from my real number. A must as a homeowner, they friggen slam you once you get on marketing lists.
