Offgrid Cash Card: No KYC Crypto Visa, Fees And Limits
What is Offgrid Cash card?
Offgrid Cash Card is an invite only, no KYC crypto Visa card that converts Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, and stablecoins from a self custody wallet into spendable fiat, with a 1.5 percent load fee on its top tier.

Offgrid Cash card Overview
Offgrid Cash Card is a virtual Visa card that turns crypto sitting in your own wallet into money you can spend at any shop or site that takes Visa. You keep custody of your coins until the moment you send them to a deposit address inside the app, then that balance shows up on a virtual card number. Access is invite only, so you need a code before you can even open an account. The official sites are offgrid.cash and app.offgrid.cash. There is no bank statement request and no email required to sign up, at least by the project's own description of the flow.
This card suits a specific reader. If you get paid in Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, Zcash, or a stablecoin and you want to buy groceries, pay for software, or book a hotel without routing that money through a KYC exchange first, this is built for you. It also suits people who move between countries a lot and don't want to open a new bank account every time. Monero and Zcash holders get a real benefit here, because many crypto cards either refuse privacy coins or add a penalty fee for using them. Offgrid takes them without an extra charge, based on the listings I found.
Funding works like this: you get a deposit address inside the dashboard, you send crypto from a wallet you control, and the balance lands on your virtual card once the chain confirms it. Bitcoin and Monero take longer to confirm than Solana or a stablecoin on a fast chain, so plan your top ups around that. You can spin up more than one virtual card number, which helps if you don't want one card reused across every merchant. The card adds to Apple Pay and Google Pay for tap payments, and some accounts get contactless ATM withdrawal, though not every ATM supports it and cash out is capped daily.
Spending limits are not fixed and have moved as the product grew. Early pages cited roughly $4,000 a month. Later official posts point to tiers near $20,000 a month, with one post mentioning up to $25,000 on the top plan. Cheaper cards were reported around $1,000 a day and $2,000 a month. These numbers come from official posts and third party writeups, not a single published rate card, so check your live dashboard before you rely on a number.
On fees, the project advertises a 1.5 percent load fee on its top tier, higher on cheaper card plans (reports mention around 2 percent and 3 percent depending on the plan you buy). Foreign exchange is marketed as 0 percent, but at least one user writeup from Europe recorded closer to 2.8 percent when spending outside USD, which pushed the real cost nearer 4.8 percent on that transaction. That gap between the marketing line and one user's ledger matters if your daily spend is in euros, lira, baht, or rupees rather than dollars. There is no single official fee document listing every charge for every country, so the honest move is to check the quoted rate inside the app before you load real money, not after.
What makes it different from a normal crypto debit card is the identity question. Most cards still ask for a passport photo or a selfie before they issue a card. Offgrid's pitch is that it checks a payment is funded without keeping that kind of file on you. One community review said name and address were still asked for in practice, which contradicts the marketing, so this is worth confirming yourself during signup rather than trusting either side blindly.
This is not a bank account and it doesn't come with an IBAN. Treat it as a spending card, not a place to park savings. Moving money back out is described as a crypto withdrawal to your own wallet, not a transfer to a checking account. If your goal is simple: spend crypto you already hold on daily purchases without a KYC exchange in the middle, this card fits. If you want a regulated account with deposit protection, look elsewhere.
Offgrid Cash card Key features
-
No KYC onboarding claim
Offgrid says it checks that a payment is funded without collecting a passport or selfie. At least one community review says name and address were still asked, so verify this inside the live signup flow before you load real money.
-
Invite only access
You need a code from the official X account or a channel it names that week. Codes expire and fake sites exist, so only use offgrid.cash and app.offgrid.cash.
-
Crypto funded virtual Visa
You stay in self custody until you send coins to a deposit address, then spend the converted balance on a virtual Visa. You can issue new virtual cards on demand so one number is not reused at every merchant.
-
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Once a virtual card is issued you can add it to a phone wallet and tap to pay in stores. Some older third party listings marked this as missing, so check on your own device.
-
24/7 crypto top up
Deposits are described as available any time with no banking cutoff, though actual credit speed depends on the source chain. Bitcoin and Monero confirm slower than Solana or an L2.
-
Wide asset support
Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, Zcash, and stablecoins are confirmed across official pages and independent card directories. Official marketing claims many other tokens work too, but send a small test amount first since chain speed and token support vary.
-
Monero without surcharge
Monero is accepted with no extra fee mentioned, which stands out against cards that charge more for privacy coins.
-
Spend dashboard
The web and app dashboard show your balance, your cards, and limits you set yourself, without tying that view to a bank statement in your name.
-
Contactless ATM cash out
Some accounts can withdraw cash at NFC capable ATMs. Official guidance says to decline dynamic currency conversion, set a PIN first, and expect an ATM operator fee on top of Offgrid's own conversion charge.
-
Tiered monthly limits
Public limits have moved over time: early listings cited around $4,000 a month, later official posts mention tiers near $20,000 and up to $25,000 on the highest plan. Cheaper cards have reported daily caps near $1,000 and monthly caps near $2,000, so check your live dashboard for the number that applies to your account.
-
Load fee near 1.5 percent
Official promotions put the headline load fee at 1.5 percent on the invite black card, with community reports of around 2 percent on a $100 card and around 3 percent on a $50 card. Those percentages are tied to card plan tiers, not a single flat rate for everyone.
-
FX cost gap to watch
Offgrid advertises 0 percent FX, but one detailed European user writeup reported about 2.8 percent FX when spending outside USD, pushing total cost near 4.8 percent on that transaction. Confirm the in app quote before you spend in a non USD currency.
-
Other listed fees
Comparison tables cite a transaction fee around 0.2 percent and an ATM conversion fee around 0.5 percent plus whatever the ATM owner charges. Annual plan prices in third party summaries run roughly $49 to $299 depending on tier, and no single official fee sheet covers every country.
-
Anonymous operator
No public company name, founder, or corporate registry is attached to this card. Support runs through email and official social channels rather than a named business, which cuts both ways on privacy and on legal recourse if something goes wrong.

How to use Offgrid Cash card
-
Get an invite code
Watch the official X account @offgridcash for invite codes. Codes drop in batches and expire, so use one quickly once you have it.
-
Sign up at the official app
Go to app.offgrid.cash and enter your invite code before it expires. Avoid any other site, since fake clone sites have been reported.
-
Create your login
Set up your account with the login method the app offers, and pick passkey or biometric login if it's available instead of email.
-
Fund your card with crypto
Copy the deposit address for the asset you want to send (Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, Zcash, or a supported stablecoin). Send a small test amount first from your own wallet and wait for it to credit before you send more.
-
Generate a virtual card
Once your balance shows up on the dashboard, generate a virtual Visa card. Add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay if you want to tap to pay in stores.
-
Spend and reload as needed
Pay at any Visa merchant, and set a PIN in card settings first if you plan to use ATMs. Reload your balance from your wallet whenever it runs low, and check the in app quote for fees before each deposit.

Absolutely true words
oh, and offgrid works great! 😁 -
It would be cool to add Non KYC bitcoin debit cards under shopping. Cash is better than contactless but there are some great Visa/Mastercard cards that let you sign up with no personal information and can send Bitcoin to the card to spend privately. I personally use Offgrid at the moment because they don't store data but there are many others.

Offgrid Cash card Review
Pros
- You keep coins in your own wallet until the moment you spend, since deposits fund a virtual Visa rather than a custodial account.
- Monero and Zcash convert to spendable balance with no privacy coin surcharge, which most crypto cards charge for.
- The load fee sits at 1.5 percent on the top tier, below the 3 to 5 percent common on similar no KYC cards.
- You can spin up new virtual card numbers on demand, so one merchant leak does not expose every purchase you make.
- Deposits post around the clock, so a weekend or holiday does not block a top up before a purchase.
- Both Apple Pay and Google Pay accept the card, so tap to pay works once the virtual card is issued.
- Support for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Zcash, and stablecoins covers most wallets people already hold.
- Users on X report months of working spend, which already outlasts several earlier no KYC card programs that shut down fast.
Cons
- Access needs an invite code, so you can't just sign up when you want a card.
- One user in Europe reported FX costs near 2.8 percent despite the 0 percent FX marketing, pushing total cost close to 4.8 percent.
- A community review said the app still asked for name and address, which contradicts the no KYC pitch.
- Spending limits keep changing by tier, from an early $4,000 a month to a later $20,000 or $25,000, so the cap you get isn't fixed.
- No named founder or company stands behind the card, so you have no legal recourse if something goes wrong.
- ATM cash out only works on NFC machines, comes with a 0.5 percent conversion fee plus the machine owner's own charge, and daily caps sit in the low thousands.
- Reviewers note the terms can let the operator forfeit your leftover balance if the account is terminated.
- There is no single official fee sheet covering every country, so you have to check the in app quote each time before you load funds.
Our verdict
Offgrid Cash suits someone who already holds crypto and wants to spend it without handing over a passport scan. The invite-only signup and no-KYC claim are the real draw, especially for Monero or Zcash holders who get punished elsewhere. But the headline 1.5 percent load fee is not the whole story. One user in Europe reported roughly 2.8 percent FX on top of that, pushing all-in cost near 4.8 percent, even though official marketing claims 0 percent FX. Add a 0.2 percent transaction fee and ATM cash-out fees on top of that, and this stops looking cheap for anyone spending outside USD. I would carry it as a small side card, not my main spend rail, until there is a public fee sheet and a longer track record than a few months. What would change my mind: an official, itemized fee page that matches what users actually see on their statements, and proof the card still works a year from now instead of vanishing like earlier no-KYC programs.
Is Offgrid Cash card safe & legit?
Nobody knows who runs Offgrid Cash Card. There is no named company, founder, or investor behind it, only an X account (@offgridcash) and the domains offgrid.cash and app.offgrid.cash. Your funds stay in self custody until you send crypto to the deposit address, so it isn't a bank holding your money, but that also means no legal recourse if something goes wrong. It has run for months without a public collapse and reviewers call its wallet and domains clean, but the short track record, invite-only access, and one report of forfeited leftover balances on termination are real risks worth weighing before you load more than you can afford to lose.

Most no-KYC cards charge 3-5% every time you load funds.
We think that’s too high.
So for the entire month of August, we’ve dropped the loading fee to just 1.5% for all Offgrid users.
Private spending shouldn’t cost more.

A card that leaves no name behind.
Load crypto. Spend anywhere. Withdraw cash at ATMs.
Private by design.1 more in this thread
A few things to know:
- Works at ATMs with a contactless/NFC reader. Not every machine has one, and some banks readers reject foreign cards even when they do. If one won't take it, try another bank's ATM.
- Max withdrawal is usually around 2,000-2,500$ per day.
- Expect a fee from the ATM operator's side, this varies by bank. If the machine offers to do the currency conversion for you, decline it.
- Set your PIN in the app under Card settings. Or message us for more help and information. For now we are opening this for higher volume accounts.
Full coverage map and fee breakdown coming soon.
