Lemon Card Key features

• Visa prepaid payments

  Spend your Lemon wallet balance at merchants that accept Visa, including online stores and shops abroad. Lemon converts your chosen balance into the merchant's currency at payment.

• Instant virtual card

  Create a virtual card in seconds inside the Lemon app and use it immediately. You can add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay where supported.

• Physical contactless card

  Request a physical contactless card through the app. You spend from the same wallet balances with either card.

• Multiple funding balances

  Choose pesos, USDT, USDC, DAI, BTC or ETH to fund purchases. You can switch the selected balance in the app.

• Bitcoin cashback

  Lemon credits BTC to your account after eligible purchases settle. Rates and monthly caps vary by country and funding balance, so check the current terms in the app.

• No monthly fee

  Lemon charges no issuance fee for the virtual or physical prepaid card and no monthly maintenance fee under its published terms. Crypto conversion and other transaction costs can still apply.

• Crypto payment conversion

  Lemon converts crypto when you pay, so merchants receive regular currency. The supplied fee breakdown lists a conversion fee of around 0.5%; confirm the current fee in the app before you spend.

• App spending controls

  Freeze the card or set spending limits in the Lemon app. You can also check card transactions alongside your wallet balance.

• Backup funding balance

  If your selected balance is too low, Lemon can use another available balance to cover the payment.

• Custody and reserves

  Lemon holds your funds under centralized custody, so you trust the company to hold and process your money. You can view its live Proof of Reserves and Proof of Solvency in the app.

Lemon Card Fees

• Issuance and maintenance Lemon charges no issuance or monthly maintenance fee for the virtual or physical prepaid card under its published terms.
• Crypto conversion fee Lemon charges around 0.5% to convert crypto for card purchases.
• Crypto purchase fee Lemon typically charges around 0.5% to 1% to buy crypto inside the app, depending on the listing.
• Crypto sale fee Lemon charges around 0.5% to sell crypto.
• Crypto swap fee Lemon charges around 0.3% to swap between cryptocurrencies.

How to use Lemon Card

1. 1

   Create your account

   Download the official Lemon app from the App Store or Google Play and register with your email. Set a six digit access code and accept the terms.

2. 2

   Verify your identity

   Complete identity verification in the app with a government ID. You must finish this step before Lemon issues your card.

3. 3

   Fund your account

   Add funds through a local bank transfer or a crypto deposit. For crypto, match the exact network shown in the app for your chosen asset to avoid losing funds.

4. 4

   Request your card

   Open the card section in the app and request the virtual or physical prepaid card. You can use the virtual card immediately, and Lemon charges no issuance or monthly maintenance fee under its published terms.

5. 5

   Choose your spending balance

   Select pesos or a supported crypto balance as your card's funding source in the app. If you want to pay through Apple Pay or Google Pay, add your virtual card where supported.

6. 6

   Make your first payment

   Pay with your card at a merchant that accepts Visa. After an eligible purchase settles, Lemon credits Bitcoin cashback to your account at the rate and within the monthly cap for your country.

  Para consumos en el exterior no hay mejor tarjeta que la de @lemonapp_ar. Si se lo compara contra una tarjeta de crédito común, no te cobra el 1.2% de impuesto al sello, te congela el tipo de cambio del momento, y te da 2% de cashback.
