Lemon Card Overview
Lemon Card is a Visa prepaid card inside the Lemon app. It suits freelancers paid in crypto and people who want to spend stablecoin savings at local shops or online. You can use a virtual card immediately or request a physical contactless card through the app.
Fund your Lemon account by local bank transfer or a crypto deposit on a supported network. Then choose pesos or a supported crypto balance, such as USDT or USDC, for purchases. Lemon converts that balance into the merchant's currency when you pay. Lemon holds the funds in centralized custody, so you spend from your app account rather than a personal crypto wallet.
The main draw is Bitcoin cashback on eligible purchases, credited to your Lemon account. You can hold that BTC or spend it later. Rates and monthly caps vary by country and payment source, so check your local terms before you count on the rewards.
Lemon lists no issuance or monthly maintenance fee for the prepaid card. Crypto conversion costs still matter, and exact foreign exchange margins and ATM terms are not clearly published for every market. Compare those costs with the cashback before you order. The separate BTC-backed credit card in Argentina has different terms.

How to use Lemon Card

Create your account
Download the official Lemon app from the App Store or Google Play and register with your email. Set a six digit access code and accept the terms.

Verify your identity
Complete identity verification in the app with a government ID. You must finish this step before Lemon issues your card.

Fund your account
Add funds through a local bank transfer or a crypto deposit. For crypto, match the exact network shown in the app for your chosen asset to avoid losing funds.

Request your card
Open the card section in the app and request the virtual or physical prepaid card. You can use the virtual card immediately, and Lemon charges no issuance or monthly maintenance fee under its published terms.

Choose your spending balance
Select pesos or a supported crypto balance as your card's funding source in the app. If you want to pay through Apple Pay or Google Pay, add your virtual card where supported.

Make your first payment
Pay with your card at a merchant that accepts Visa. After an eligible purchase settles, Lemon credits Bitcoin cashback to your account at the rate and within the monthly cap for your country.

Para consumos en el exterior no hay mejor tarjeta que la de @lemonapp_ar. Si se lo compara contra una tarjeta de crédito común, no te cobra el 1.2% de impuesto al sello, te congela el tipo de cambio del momento, y te da 2% de cashback.

Our verdict
I'd carry Lemon Card for everyday purchases if I already earned stablecoins. Lemon holds your crypto and charges no prepaid issuance or maintenance fees. Reported crypto conversion fees are around 0.5%, before spreads and other applicable charges. Without exact spread and FX figures, I can't calculate your all-in cost. I'd reconsider if fees and spreads outweighed my capped cashback.
