Plasma One Card Key features

• Stablecoin Visa spending

  Spend your dollar stablecoin balance at Visa merchants through the Plasma One app. Check the app's residency list before applying, since card eligibility differs from merchant acceptance.

• Self custodial wallet

  You authorize spending from a smart wallet on Plasma, with keys generated on your device through Privy. Plasma says it does not hold your coins, so you need a recovery path if you lose device access.

• Fast virtual card

  After identity checks, you can get a virtual card in minutes. Add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay for phone payments.

• Free Lite tier

  Pay no annual fee and lock no XPL for Lite, which includes one virtual card. Earn 2% cashback on your first $500 of monthly spending, then 0.1% above that.

• XPL cashback

  You receive cashback in XPL, usually weekly, and can convert it to dollars or lock it toward a higher tier. Your rewards can lose dollar value when the XPL price falls.

• Core tier access

  Later published schedules list Core at about $199 a year or a 12-month lock of 20,000 XPL; earlier prices differ, so confirm in the app. Earn 3% on your first $1,000 of monthly spending, with lower rates on higher spending bands.

• Platinum tier access

  Lock 100,000 XPL for 12 months to get Platinum, with no dollar annual fee listed and no early exit under published terms. Earn 4% cashback on your first $3,000 of monthly spending, then lower rates on higher bands.

• AI cashback boosts

  Core users earn about 5% on eligible AI purchases, while Platinum users earn 10%. Eligible merchants include OpenAI and Anthropic; Lite users get no AI boost.

• Physical card access

  Core and Platinum users can get a physical card, useful at hotels or rental desks that require one for a hold. ATM withdrawals are generally listed as unavailable.

• Free USDT transfers

  Send USDT within the app on Plasma with no transfer fee. You may still pay gas or partner fees for other assets or chains.

• Local currency deposits

  Deposit through Bridge-powered virtual accounts and convert the funds into a dollar balance. Supported payment rails include USD ACH and EUR SEPA; check the app for deposit fees.

• Variable Earn yield

  Put idle stablecoins in the app's Earn vault for variable yield, with advertised rates of about 3.9% to 6%. You do not hold a bank deposit, and your balance has no FDIC insurance.

• Tiered FX fees

  For non-USD purchases, published tables list Plasma's markup at about 1% for Lite and 0.5% for Core, on top of the Visa rate. Platinum users pay no Plasma FX markup under those tables.

Plasma One Card Fees

• Annual fees Lite is $0 per year; Core is about $199 per year or a twelve-month lock of 20,000 XPL (confirm in app), while Platinum requires a twelve-month lock of 100,000 XPL.
• Top-ups and transfers You pay $0 for stablecoin top-ups on preferred rails and in-app USDT transfers on Plasma.
• FX markup For non-USD purchases, you pay about 1% on Lite or about 0.5% on Core above the Visa rate, while Platinum has a 0% Plasma markup.
• Bank withdrawals Listed bank withdrawal fees are 0.75% to 1% for Lite and 0.25% to 0.35% for Core, while Platinum is under 0.1%, plus the underlying bank rail fee.
• Fiat deposit fees USD wire deposits can cost $10 to $15; other listed local fiat rails have small flat fees without published amounts in the supplied data.

How to use Plasma One Card

   Create your account

   Download Plasma One from the App Store or Google Play and create an account. Check the app's residency list before you start identity checks.

2. 2

   Verify your identity

   Complete the Sumsub identity check with your passport or national ID.

   Choose your tier

   Choose Lite to start with no annual fee or token lock. If you prefer Core or Platinum, confirm the current fee or XPL lock requirement in the app.

4. 4

   Add your virtual card

   Wait for Rain to issue your virtual card after KYC, then add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

5. 5

   Fund your wallet

   Check the live deposit screen for the supported network and any fees. Deposit USDT on Plasma into your self custodial wallet.

6. 6

   Make your first payment

   Use your card through Apple Wallet or Google Wallet at a Visa merchant to spend your funded balance. Check the app for your XPL cashback, which you usually receive weekly.

  These are probably my only two crypto cards I'm gonna use going in the future:
  
  @Plasma One honestly turned out to be better than I expected, been using it for a few months almost everyday, works smooth, plus solid cashback, especially if you're buying a lot of subscriptions. But as almost all cards it has a big flaw and it's that every transaction is visible onchain
  
  That's one of the reasons why I'm waiting for the one by @AnomaPay to be released. It might be one of the first privacy focused cards where all activities will stay confident. Tbh it might even be my only card if it meets all my expectations
