Kolo Crypto Card Overview
The Kolo Crypto Card is a virtual Visa Platinum prepaid card linked to a multi chain crypto wallet. You hold coins like USDT, USDC, EURC, BTC, or ETH in the wallet, then pick which asset pays at checkout. The conversion happens right when you tap or click buy, so there is no separate step where you sell on an exchange first, wait for a bank wire, then load a debit card. That single step is the whole pitch.
The app runs two card currencies from one wallet: a USD card and a EUR card. You get to it through the iOS app, Android app, a Telegram mini app, or the web at kolo.xyz. Right now the card is virtual only. A physical card comes up in reviews as something people want, not something Kolo ships as default.
This card fits people who already sit on stablecoins or crypto and want to spend on rent, subscriptions, groceries, or travel without a second off ramp. It also fits anyone paid in crypto who needs a way to spend that a bank won't flag as a strange incoming wire. If you travel outside the US and want a Visa that taps through Apple Pay or Google Pay, or you want a small BTC reward instead of points that expire, Kolo lines up with that. It also works if you want to push crypto value into a SEPA bank like Revolut, Wise, or N26 without parking funds on an exchange first.
It is a weak fit if you live in the US, need a physical card today for hotel or car rental holds, or expect big uncapped cashback. Reviews describe caps on the reward program, so treat it as a bonus, not a yield.
Funding works through the multi chain wallet. You send in supported assets on the network the deposit screen names, and matching the asset to the right network matters, a token sent on the wrong chain can get stuck or lost. Once funds land, you choose which one converts for the next purchase. There is no requirement to pre convert your whole balance into fiat first. Spending itself runs on Visa rails, so anywhere Visa, Apple Pay, or Google Pay works, the card should work too, subject to your own account limits.
What sets Kolo apart from a plain prepaid card is the conversion moment. Most crypto cards make you swap into fiat ahead of time and sit on a fiat balance. Kolo converts at the point of sale, so your money stays in the asset you picked until the second you actually pay. Reviews also flag the stablecoin spend path, USDT, USDC, and EURC are marketed at 0 percent markup, while other coins convert with a spread. Bitcoin cashback is another difference, though the published numbers include an introductory rate that steps down after about 30 days, plus monthly and per purchase caps. Read the live terms in the app before you rely on any of these numbers, since program details can change and country availability is not guaranteed everywhere the app is downloadable.
Kolo Crypto Card Key features
-
Convert at checkout
You pick which coin in your wallet pays for a purchase, and the app converts it the moment you spend. No separate exchange sale or bank wire step before you pay.
-
USD and EUR virtual cards
One wallet holds both a USD card and a EUR card, so you can match the currency to the bill in front of you. Both are virtual only right now, no physical card by default.
-
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Add the virtual card to your phone wallet and tap to pay anywhere that takes contactless Visa. This is the main way people use Kolo in stores since there is no shipped plastic card.
-
Stablecoin spend at 0 percent markup
Kolo markets 0 percent markup when you spend USDT, USDC, or EURC. Other coins convert with a spread, which reviews put at roughly 0.3 percent to 1 percent depending on the pair.
-
Bitcoin cashback
Cleared purchases can earn BTC, commonly described as 2 percent for an intro window of about 30 days, then 1 percent after. Reviews cite monthly caps around $100 or 100 euros and per purchase caps around $2 in the intro period, $1 after. Kolo can change this program, so treat it as a bonus, not a fixed rate.
-
No annual or monthly fee
There is no subscription charge to hold the card. An activation deposit, often cited as 10 USDC, is credited back after the card goes live in several reviews.
-
Multi chain deposit wallet
You can deposit assets across a wide set of networks named on the official site, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Solana, and others. The app also swaps tokens inside the wallet so you can move an alt coin into a stablecoin before you spend.
-
SEPA send
You can push funds from the wallet to a EU bank account, useful for a landlord or payroll partner who wants euros in a named bank instead of a card charge.
-
ATM withdrawals
Some product notes describe ATM access with limits around $500 per withdrawal and 3 withdrawals per 24 hours, plus a fee reported near $1 plus 0.65 percent. Availability depends on your card type and region, so check the app before you rely on it.
-
KYC and AML screening
Identity checks run through a Sumsub style flow, and transactions get screened for unusual patterns. This is why the card can run on Visa rails, and also why an odd transaction can get delayed while it clears review.
-
Referral share
Some product pages and posts describe a referral cut of fees from invited users, sometimes quoted around 40 percent. Confirm the live rate in the app since terms can shift.
Kolo Crypto Card Fees
-
Annual and monthly fee Kolo charges no annual fee and no monthly fee for holding the card.
-
Card activation fee Activation is often described as a 10 USDC charge that gets credited back to your balance, so net issuance can end up at zero.
-
Stablecoin spend markup Kolo markets 0 percent markup when you spend USDT, USDC, or EURC directly.
-
Other crypto conversion spread Spending other coins converts at an exchange style spread that reviews put in a rough 0.3 percent to 1 percent range, though some fee tables instead describe a flat 1 percent conversion fee plus an extra 1 percent when a USD card is used at a non USD merchant, so check the rate shown at checkout in the app.
-
ATM withdrawals Where enabled, ATM withdrawals have been published around $1 plus 0.65 percent, capped at about $500 per withdrawal and 3 withdrawals per 24 hours.

How to use Kolo Crypto Card
-
Create your Kolo account
Download the Kolo app for iPhone or Android, open the Telegram mini app, or go to kolo.xyz. Sign up with your phone number or email and set a strong login method.
-
Verify your identity
Complete the Sumsub identity check with a government ID and a selfie. The app screens transactions for AML rules, so keep your documents clear and legible to avoid delays.
-
Issue your virtual card
Choose the USD card or the EUR card if both appear for your profile. If the app asks for a small activation deposit such as 10 USDC, send it; reviews say that amount returns to your balance once the card is live.
-
Fund your wallet
Copy the deposit address for the exact network shown on screen and send a small test amount first. USDT, USDC, and EURC are the cheapest assets to spend from, since Kolo markets 0 percent markup on those three.
-
Add the card to your phone wallet
Once the deposit confirms, add the virtual card to Apple Pay or Google Pay. Most in-person spend runs through tap to pay, since Kolo does not ship a physical card by default.
-
Make your first payment
Pick which asset in your wallet should auto convert, then pay online with the card number or tap in store. Check the app after your first few purchases clear to see cashback and any spend limits that apply to your account.

Why are there so few crypto cards that can be used to top up Revolut via Apple Pay?
View on X ↗
Out of all the cards I have, only 5 work:
Krak, Kraken, Wirex One, Bleap and KOLO
300+ crypto cards on the market, and this is still surprisingly rare -
Good morning, bro. I just tried Kolo recently too. It's really usable for everyday payments, no need to transfer money to a bank first. It's like having a crypto debit card, but much more convenient, especially with Apple Pay and SEPA being fast.

1 GMFrens ☕️ Just grabbed my morning coffee with Kolo Card. Felt exactly like a normal debit card! Instant crypto pay, zero extra fees, Apple Pay just works. Finally crypto is usable IRL 🚀 #KoloCard #CryptoPayments
Kolo Crypto Card Review
Pros
- Stablecoin spend in USDT, USDC or EURC carries a 0 percent Kolo markup, the cheapest way to fund purchases.
- The card has no annual fee and no monthly fee, so idle months cost nothing.
- You skip the sell-on-exchange-then-wire-to-a-debit-card routine, since conversion happens right at checkout.
- Bitcoin cashback runs about 2 percent for the first 30 days, then 1 percent, paid daily in BTC once purchases clear.
- You can hold a USD card and a EUR card in the same wallet, so you spend in whichever currency matches your bills.
- The wallet accepts a wide set of chains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, Polygon, Arbitrum and Base.
- SEPA transfers let you push funds straight from the wallet to a bank like Revolut, Wise or N26 without parking money on an exchange first.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay support means tap-to-pay works in stores even though there is no physical card yet.
Cons
- No physical card option exists today, so ATM and chip-and-pin merchants can be a problem.
- US residents and sanctioned markets cannot get the card at all.
- Bitcoin cashback drops from 2 percent to 1 percent after about 30 days, and caps sit near $100 or €100 a month.
- Per purchase cashback caps around $1 to $2 make rewards on big tickets almost meaningless.
- Fee sources disagree on whether a 1 percent conversion fee applies on top of the stablecoin markup, so the true cost is unclear until checkout.
- Kolo or its banking partners can freeze or delay funds when AML screening flags a transaction.
- The company has no disclosed venture funding, which raises questions about long term stability.
- Cashback rates and terms can change at any time since the program is run by the operator, not fixed by contract.
Our verdict
Kolo earns its keep if you already hold USDT, USDC, or EURC. Spend those and the markup is 0 percent, so the card is close to free. Spend anything else and a spread of roughly 0.3 to 1 percent eats into your balance, and that math beats the BTC cashback most months anyway. The 2 percent intro rate drops to 1 percent after 30 days, and caps near $100 a month and $1 to $2 per purchase mean cashback is pocket change, not income. It is a solid pick for stablecoin holders paying rent or bills in Europe, a bad pick for anyone in the US or anyone who needs a physical card today. I would rate it higher the day Kolo ships plastic and locks its fee terms instead of letting fee tables contradict each other.
Is Kolo Crypto Card safe & legit?
<p>Kolo is a real Visa card product, not an anonymous token project. The USD card is issued through Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, the EUR card through Wirex, payments run on Rain with Signify Holdings, and the app itself is run by Hardline Holdings Limited in Kazakhstan (registered with the Astana Financial Services Authority), with CEO named as Pavel Luchkovskyi in older PR. Your spend balance is custodial, meaning Kolo and its partners hold the funds and can freeze or delay a transaction if their AML checks flag it, though some writeups mention an MPC wallet where your device holds a key share for moving funds.</p>
<p>Review sites that checked records found no regulator ban or scam database hit so far, and there is no public sign of a venture funding round behind it, growth looks organic through Telegram and mobile use instead. That said, treat it like any custodial platform: don't park savings on it, only keep what you plan to spend, and never share your seed phrase or login with anyone, including someone claiming to be Kolo support.</p>

Not enough USDT to cover the payment?
Kolo can use any other asset from your list to cover the remaining amount.
Set your asset priority in the app. Kolo checks your balances from top to bottom and uses the next one if the first balance is not enough.

More than $10B has already been loaded onto crypto cards.
Behind that volume are more than 145M transactions and hundreds of thousands of users.
This is no longer a market for someone paying with crypto once to buy a new iPhone. Most of the volume comes from everyday payments: taxis, groceries, subscriptions, and shopping.
Crypto cards have been around for years. But people are starting to use them like any other card: regularly, without needing a special reason.

If you have several wallets in Kolo, you can now put them in your own order. Drag the one you need where you want it, and it stays there.

This summer, a record number of Europeans are planning a trip. 82%, the highest since 2020.
But they travel differently now: shorter stays, tighter budgets, counting every euro.
And still losing some of those euros on currency exchange.
With Kolo, no exchange booth needed. At the terminal, you choose to pay in the local currency and don't overpay on conversion.
