Pulsar Money Card Overview
Pulsar Money Card is a virtual Visa debit card linked to USD and EUR balances in the Pulsar Money app. It suits freelancers, remote workers, travelers, and crypto users who hold stablecoins and want to pay for subscriptions, hotels, software, and online shopping.
Fund the USD balance with USDT or USDC, or fund the EUR balance with EURC. Supported routes use a 1:1 conversion with no Pulsar funding fee, although network charges may apply. The merchant receives normal fiat card settlement, so you do not send crypto to the shop.
Spend from the matching balance to avoid Pulsar FX charges, such as USD payments from USD or EUR payments from EUR. Other currency payments have a listed Pulsar FX charge of about 1%, but the live in-app fee schedule should take priority. A standard monthly fee and virtual card issue fee are not listed. ATM use has a free Pulsar fee up to $200 per month, then 2% plus any ATM operator fee.
The card uses Pulsar Points instead of a fixed cashback rate. You can apply points to a past card purchase for a USDC refund. The main difference is the mix of a crypto-funded multi currency account, same-currency spending, and fiat-style USD or EUR balances. Eligible users may also receive SEPA or ACH account details, but card, SEPA, and ACH availability differ by country and require identity checks.
Pulsar Money Card Key features
-
Virtual Visa card
Pulsar gives you a virtual Visa debit card issued through Wirex. You can use it at Visa merchants and, where available, add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
-
Stablecoin funding
USDT or USDC funds the USD balance, while EURC funds the EUR balance. Pulsar lists no funding fee on supported 1-to-1 routes, though network fees can still apply.
-
USD and EUR balances
The app shows separate USD and EUR balances instead of a list of tokens and networks. Card payments use the matching balance when available.
-
Named bank details
Eligible users may receive EUR SEPA Instant details or USD ACH details in their own name. Availability depends on residence and verification, and the bank detail lists are narrower than the card coverage list.
-
In-app swaps
You can swap USDT, USDC, EURC, USD and EUR inside the app. The app shows the rate before you confirm, and cross-currency swaps use an exchange rate.
-
Same-currency FX
Pulsar lists 0 percent Pulsar FX for USD card payments from a USD balance and EUR payments from a EUR balance. Other currency payments have a listed fee of about 1 percent, with live pricing subject to change.
-
Pulsar Points
Card spending earns points that you can apply to a past card purchase for a USDC refund. Pulsar Pro can raise point rates and add selected merchant promotions, but the standard point rate is not published in the supplied data.
-
Optional DeFi yield
Eligible idle balances can go into DeFi strategies using Morpho and Steakhouse Financial vaults. Public materials cite around 5.2 percent APY, but the rate can change and the yield is not bank interest or deposit insurance.
-
ATM fee band
Pulsar lists no Pulsar ATM fee for up to 200 USD per month. After that, the fee is 2 percent plus any charge from the ATM operator.
-
Security controls
The app includes daily spend limits, two-factor login, biometrics and activity alerts. Pulsar describes its wallet layer as non-custodial, while card and account features still require identity checks and depend on Wirex and other partners.
-
Arc settlement
The product uses Circle Arc for settlement and supports stablecoin activity around USDC and EURC. Materials also mention USDT funding on TRON and other networks in funding or swap contexts, so you should check the live app before sending funds.
-
No monthly fee listed
The supplied fee data lists no monthly fee for the standard personal account. It also lists no Pulsar issuance fee for the virtual card, while third-party charges can still apply.

-

-
Same currency payments Pulsar charges 0 percent FX when you spend USD from a USD balance or EUR from a EUR balance.
-
Cross currency payments Pulsar charges about 1 percent FX for payments in another currency, though earlier writeups listed 1.35 percent, so check the fee schedule in the app.
-
ATM withdrawals Pulsar charges no ATM fee on withdrawals up to 200 dollars per month, then 2 percent, and ATM operators may add their own fees.

How to use Pulsar Money Card
-
Join the app
Open the official Pulsar site or store listing and request early access if the waitlist still gates accounts. Install the iOS or Android app after Pulsar invites you.
-
Verify your identity
Create an account with your email and complete identity verification with a document when Pulsar requires it for the card or bank details. Check that your country appears on the card list, and check the separate SEPA or ACH list if you need named bank details.
-
Fund your balance
Send USDT or USDC to fund the USD balance, or send EURC to fund the EUR balance, using a network supported by the live app. Check the deposit address and network before sending, since a wrong network can lose funds.
-
Activate the card
Wait for the matching USD or EUR balance to update at a 1 to 1 rate, then open the card section and activate the virtual Visa card. Set a daily spending limit if you want a hard cap, and add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay when the option is available.
-
Make your first payment
Pay a merchant from the matching balance, USD for a USD purchase or EUR for a EUR purchase, to avoid Pulsar FX. The merchant receives a normal fiat card payment, so you do not send crypto to the merchant.

Apple Pay / Google Pay
支持 USD / EUR 账户
USDT / USDC / EURC 等稳定币入金
邀请好友消费还能拿 0.25% cashback
我自己的卡已经下来了,接下来准备实际刷几笔看看汇率、手续费和稳定性怎么样。 -

Deposited 3 USDC from my arc wallet and I got it in my pulsar app in less than 30 seconds.
Pulsar money already has a really cool app on iOS and android and getting set up takes less than a minute
I'm still exploring the app to play around features like the payment cards, privacy and other interesting features.

Pulsar Money Card Review
Pros
- USDT and USDC fund the USD balance at 1 to 1 with no Pulsar funding fee listed.
- EURC funds the EUR balance at 1 to 1 with no Pulsar funding fee listed.
- USD purchases from the USD balance and EUR purchases from the EUR balance have 0 percent Pulsar FX.
- The virtual Visa card can be used at Visa merchants and may work with Apple Pay or Google Pay where supported.
- The standard personal account has no monthly fee listed.
- Users can redeem Pulsar Points for a USDC refund on past card purchases.
- The wallet layer is described as non-custodial, while Wirex handles the card and account rails.
Cons
- Pulsar has no physical card, so you need the virtual card or a supported mobile wallet.
- Pulsar charges about 1% FX when your purchase currency differs from your balance currency.
- Pulsar charges 2% on ATM withdrawals above $200 per month, and ATM owners may charge extra.
- You earn points to redeem against past purchases rather than automatic cash refunds.
- You may qualify for the card but remain ineligible for named SEPA or ACH account details.
- You still depend on Wirex for card approvals and freezes despite the non custodial wallet setup.
- You may need to wait for an early access invitation before you can use the card.
Our verdict
Pulsar Money Card suits stablecoin users spending matching USD or EUR balances. Same-currency purchases have 0% Pulsar FX, but network and third-party charges still apply. Cross-currency spending costs about 1% FX plus spread; points are not guaranteed cashback. I would carry it, accepting KYC and Wirex rails; pricing clarity could change my mind.

Is Pulsar Money Card safe & legit?
Pulsar Money has signs of a legitimate business: founder Alex Radu runs Romania's Pulsar Money SRL, with roots in a bootstrapped Acc Ventures / Astrarizon effort, and Wirex issues the card. Pulsar describes the wallet balance as self-custody, but you still depend on Wirex for card access and payment disputes. I would be cautious with large balances: Pulsar is an early access software provider without its own EMI licence, and users who choose optional DeFi yield take risks without deposit insurance.

we're optimizing for people who live across currencies: earning in one country, spending in another, making international transfers and sending money home
for them, getting paid is only the beginning. they still need to convert that money, move it where it's needed and use it day to day. the cost and friction across that whole journey are what we want to improve
that's why we're building Pulsar from the ground up, bringing accounts, transfers and everyday spending together, with stablecoin rails underneath. the opportunity is to give people better rates, broader access and a simpler experience, without asking them to understand the complexity behind it
for us, focus means being specific about whose problems we're solving. those people already live across markets, so we need broad coverage while going deep on the currencies, routes and local needs that matter to them

what excites us about @arc is how closely it aligns with our vision for where the payments industry is heading
a focus on compliance and regulated rails, predictable fees, StableFX connected to existing financial infrastructure, and a roadmap around agentic payments and privacy. these things matter when you're building a money app for a new generation reshaping how people interact with fintech

By @PulsarMoneyApp on @outofpilot.
Pulsar's ICP doesn't live in one country by definition, so a single-market MVP would have solved the wrong problem.
The team launched with a footprint in +100 countries and picked specific regional pain points to go deep on inside that broad footprint: Latin America, non-EU Eastern Europe, Middle Eastern immigrants inside Europe, and North Africa.

"You cannot build with other stablecoins that are not MiCA-compliant"
@Alex__Radu on why @PulsarMoneyApp chose @arc for its fintech rails.
ARC runs StableFX, an institutional FX engine that settles stablecoin pairs through request-for-quote pricing rather than pooled AMM liquidity.
