What PolyMart stores, the cookies and analytics it uses, and how to control or remove your data.
What we store
Fill out the submit form and we keep what you wrote — your email or Telegram handle, the URL, any notes. That's the only personal info we ever ask for, and we only use it to reply.
The server also writes normal access logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) and holds them for about 30 days. Useful when something breaks.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site gets used — which tools people open, roughly where visits come from, that kind of thing. It is aggregate traffic data. No ad targeting, no cross-site profiles.
If you visit from the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, analytics only runs after you accept the cookie banner. Reject it and nothing but the essentials load. Everywhere else analytics is on by default. Either way you can change your mind anytime through Cookie settings in the footer.
The cookies you might pick up here:
- Analytics (
_ga,_ga_*) — Google Analytics, to measure usage. Set only with your consent in the regions above. Lasts up to about 13 months. - Cookie choice (
pm_cookie_consent) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics so we do not ask again. Strictly necessary. Lasts one year. - Ratings — when you rate an article or a tool, a small cookie stops the same browser voting twice. Functional, no analytics use.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the anti-bot check on the submit and comment forms may set a short-lived cookie. Security, strictly necessary.
- Admin login — only ever set for the site's own admin. Does not apply to you.
What we don't do
No ad pixels. No advertising cookies. No selling your email or handing it to anyone. No tracking you across other sites.
Removing your data
Want your submission and email wiped? Email us and it is done. To clear analytics, open Cookie settings in the footer and reject, or clear cookies in your browser.
