Holyheld Card Key features

• Self custody connection

  Connect an existing supported wallet and keep your crypto there until you approve a top up. After conversion, you hold a euro card balance with Unlimit, not crypto under your own keys.

• Virtual and physical cards

  Use the virtual Mastercard debit card after approval. You can also order a physical Classic or Metal card for contactless payments.

• Phone wallet payments

  Add your virtual card to Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can then pay by phone at contactless terminals.

• Personal euro IBAN

  You get a named euro IBAN to receive salary and send SEPA transfers. You use the same euro balance for transfers and card payments.

• Supported token top ups

  Holyheld advertises support for more than 1,200 tokens across multiple networks. Choose a supported token in your connected wallet and check the conversion quote before you approve.

• Sponsored approval gas

  Holyheld pays gas for many top up approvals on supported networks. Check the app for your network, since sponsorship does not cover every transaction.

• USDC cashback

  Listed cashback rates are 0.5% for Classic and Limited Edition, and 1% for Metal, paid in USDC. A 30 day reward lock is widely reported, so check the current claim rules and tier cap in the app.

• No monthly fee

  Listed account opening and monthly maintenance fees are EUR 0. You still pay an issuance fee, listed at about EUR 29 for Classic or EUR 199 for Metal.

• Euro card spending

  You spend euros after you convert your crypto. Listed international or FX charges are commonly 2.5% plus EUR 1, so check the current fee before you use the card for non-euro purchases.

• App card controls

  Freeze your card in the app and receive push alerts when you spend. You also complete 3D Secure checks at many online checkouts.

• Passkey app access

  Use a biometric passkey to access the app. You still approve token movements through wallet signatures.

• Holyheld user transfers

  Use $holytags to send or request money between Holyheld users. You do not need to share a long IBAN for each transfer.

Holyheld Card Fees

• Account fees You pay EUR 0 to open an account and EUR 0 for monthly maintenance under standard listings.
• Issuance fee You pay about EUR 29 for Classic or EUR 99 for Limited Edition, with Metal priced at about EUR 199.
• Top-up fee Holyheld charges 0% with sponsored gas according to many current pages, but older pages and some comparison sites list 0.75%, so check the app quote.
• International payments You commonly pay 2.5% plus EUR 1 for international or FX card payments, according to the supplied fee tables.
• ATM withdrawals You pay about EUR 1 for domestic ATM withdrawals or about 2.5% plus EUR 2 for international withdrawals, according to the supplied fee tables.

How to use Holyheld Card

1. 1

   Create your account

   Open the official Holyheld iOS or Android app and confirm that Holyheld supports your country. Create an account with your email and a passkey or passcode.

2. 2

   Verify your identity

   Enter your name and address, then submit a government ID and complete the face check. Complete this KYC process for full limits and a physical card.

3. 3

   Connect your wallet

   Connect a supported wallet through WalletConnect or a listed native option in the app. You keep your crypto in your wallet until you approve a top up.

4. 4

   Choose your card

   Pick a card tier, check the current issuance fee in the app and pay it. After approval, activate your virtual card in the app.

5. 5

   Fund your euro balance

   Open Top up, choose your chain and token, then enter the amount. Review the conversion quote and fees before you sign the approval, then wait until you see the euro balance in the app.

6. 6

   Make your first payment

   Add your virtual card to Apple Pay or Google Pay for an in-person payment. Tap your phone at a contactless terminal where the merchant accepts Mastercard.

  @holyheld The first non custodial card afaik, and my first venture into this space. Loved it, but over time they introduced FX fees for non EU payments which is a deal-breaker for me personally. Cashback is 0.50%. It is still the card which processes most txs volume and offers the best UX and customer support. If you are an EU user and do not necessarily need integrated yield, this is the card to get.

    We received reports of surging Holyheld scam sites. It is unfortunately inevitable as one of the largest Web3 cards in the space. While the fakes are easily recognizable and verifiable stay vigilant and always double check when in doubt.

    2. If Holyheld sends you an email it will always come from @holyheld.com. If any information is asked from you in the email, it always comes with unique reference code that can be validated in the app.
    3. You can always confirm any information in our live support chat. No AI, only live support.
