fomo Overview

fomo is a social crypto trading terminal for buying and selling tokens across Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Monad and other supported networks. Users fund one balance with Apple Pay, cards or crypto, then trade tokens through a mobile app or web interface. The app handles chain routing and shows the total cost before each trade.

It suits beginners, mobile-first traders and users who follow wallet activity instead of relying only on charts. A live feed shows trades from other users, while trader profiles, alerts and leaderboards help with discovery. Users can copy positions manually, but advanced order types and automated spot copy trading are limited. Perpetual futures are available in some regions through connected venues.

Spot trading generally costs about 0.50% per trade, with tiered Solana pricing and lower rates for some major tokens. Perpetual trades have separate venue fees, funding costs and a fee reported at about 0.05%. The exact quote appears before confirmation. Referral links may reduce eligible fees and share revenue with referrers. Its main difference is the mix of social trading, wallet tracking, multi-chain access and fast token execution in one balance, rather than a chart-heavy trading terminal.

fomo Key features

  • Multi-Chain Trading

Trade tokens across Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Monad, Robinhood Chain, and other supported networks from one USD or USDC balance. The app handles routing and bridging behind the scenes.

  • Social Trading Feed

See live buys and sells from other users, including entry prices, position sizes, and optional trade notes. Follow traders and receive alerts when they act.

  • Wallet Tracking

Track on-chain traders across supported chains and review their activity in one app. Users can copy positions if they choose, though automated spot copy trading has limits.

  • Trader Leaderboards

Leaderboards rank accounts by performance across different time periods. Users can use these rankings to find traders to follow.

  • Token Discovery

Browse trending, new, verified, and community-highlighted tokens with filters, charts, holder data, and performance details.

  • Token Safety Signals

Token pages can show verification status, holder data, liquidity-based availability, and community signals. These checks do not remove the risk of losses or illiquid tokens.

  • Fiat Funding

Fund an account with Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit cards, or crypto deposits. Users can trade without opening a separate exchange account.

  • Embedded Wallets

The app creates an embedded wallet at signup, and private keys remain exportable. The wallet uses non-custodial key management, so the company cannot move funds unilaterally.

  • Gas Fee Abstraction

The app covers Solana network costs in many cases and shows total costs upfront on other chains. Users generally do not need to hold native gas tokens for supported trades.

  • Spot Trade Fees

Spot trades generally cost about 0.50 percent per trade, with rates that can vary by order size, token, and route. The app shows the exact fee and total cost before confirmation.

  • Perpetual Futures

Users can trade perpetual futures through venues such as Hyperliquid and trade.xyz, with leverage options and a social layer. Perps carry venue fees and funding rates, and availability depends on location.

  • Portfolio Tracking

View cross-chain holdings, real-time profit and loss, and account activity in one portfolio screen.

  • Referral Rebates

Referral codes can reduce eligible trading fees for new users, while referrers can receive a share of revenue. The exact terms depend on the referral program.

  • Perps trading fee Perpetual futures charge approximately 0.05% per transaction, plus underlying venue fees and funding rates.

    update on @fomo

    - UI is super clean, interaction w/ money smooth/fast, trading spot has been best experience [possibly ever?]

    - shitcoining seems fun, instant, addictive, however I'm not much of a trencher myself

    - I bet copytrading/countertrading works well for people, again, not a feature I personally care about

    - been degening perps in this chop for fun, perp execution and features could use some work, granted it's in very early stages so I trust @seyong & team will improve it drastically, if they do I'm definitely moving some of my Hyperliquid size there and will start trading perps proper

most importantly, I think the entire concept of one-app for all finance with easy onboarding, social tracking, public PNL and smooth mobile app will go down as one of the greatest deliveries in crypto consumer app history if the team continues to deliver and listen to community as they have so far

very bullish on fomo. excited to see how my beloved perps develop. excited to see how non-perp products onboard the majority. obviously, not paid to say this.

oh, and you probably shouldn't copy-trade me until I put size on - it says "degen account" in bio for a reason. we're testing :)

Most traders spend hours watching charts, but keeping track of what other wallets are doing can be just as interesting.

That's one reason I've been exploring Fomo.

You can follow onchain traders, see their activity and explore trades across supported chains from one app. ( Saw that @metaversejoji and @brezscales had bought E/acc, so I decided to buy some too. Ended up making a 10x. ) thanks @seyong @fomo for this app

If you want to try it, my link gives you 10% off eligible Fomo trading fees.

Get FOMO, and start trading on-chain

Fomo just flipped hype in revenue

What if they drop a token?

Beside being best app to trade, it might be a worthwhile if token happens and airdrop occurs

But beside all this, it is by far best UI experience to trade and best tool to catch alpha, you always get notification on pairs that have alot of buyers

    FOMO is all you need

fomo Review

Pros

  • One balance lets users trade across Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Monad, and other listed networks.
  • The app shows the trading fee and total cost before each confirmation.
  • Users can follow traders, receive buy and sell alerts, and copy positions if they choose.
  • Embedded wallets let users export their private keys and keep control of their funds.
  • The app covers Solana network costs in many cases and handles other chain fees in the quoted total.
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit cards, and crypto transfers support fast account funding.
  • Token pages include charts, holder data, filters, and safety-related verification labels.
  • Referral codes can reduce eligible trading fees, while referrers can receive revenue share.

Cons

  • Spot fees can reach about 0.50% per trade, with minimum charges that hurt smaller trades.
  • The terminal lacks advanced spot tools such as resting limit orders and automated copy trading.
  • Perpetual futures and some assets are unavailable in certain jurisdictions.
  • The memecoin focus exposes traders to sharp losses and thin liquidity.
  • Users have reported slow support and delayed sells during extreme volatility.
  • The unregulated setup provides no deposit insurance.
  • The platform has no published native token or loyalty airdrop program.

Our verdict

Fomo is worth using for beginners and mobile traders chasing multi-chain memecoin moves. The feed and one-balance trading beat wallet chores, but social signals can fuel bad entries. Expect about 0.50% per spot trade, with small trades sometimes facing minimum fees. I would change my mind if fees rose or execution failed during volatility.

Is fomo safe & legit?

fomo is run by FOMO Labs, Inc., founded by Paul Erlanger, Se Yong Park, and Prashan Dharmasena, all former dYdX employees. It has positive user feedback and backing from known crypto investors, but that does not remove the risks. No confirmed platform hack or fund loss is known from the provided data; the main risks are volatile memecoins, possible slippage or slow sells, fees, limited regulation, and losses from copy trading.

fomo FAQ

What fees does fomo charge on each trade?
Spot trades generally cost about 0.50% per trade, with lower rates for some major tokens and tiered pricing on Solana. Small Solana trades can have a minimum near $0.95, while perps cost about 0.05% plus venue fees and funding; the app shows the exact total before you confirm.
Which blockchains does fomo support?
fomo supports Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Monad, and Robinhood Chain, with additional networks reported in some cases. It uses one balance across chains and handles routing behind the scenes, but token, deposit, and withdrawal availability can vary by network.
Who controls my trading wallet, and how safe are the tokens?
fomo creates an embedded wallet with exportable private keys, so users can take control of their funds outside the app. The app shows token labels, holder data, and liquidity information, but those checks do not make memecoins safe, and no deposit insurance applies.
How fast are trades, and do I need to manage gas or priority fees?
fomo supports one-tap execution and covers Solana network costs in many cases, while other network costs appear in the quoted total. The platform does not publish a fixed execution time or a separate priority-fee schedule, and users have reported that sell speed can suffer during extreme volatility.
How does fomo compare with other crypto trading terminals?
fomo puts social trading, wallet activity, alerts, leaderboards, and optional copy trading beside multi-chain spot trading, which can feel easier than a traditional terminal or a standalone DEX. It has fewer advanced trading tools, and its fees may cost more than a pure DEX aggregator for smaller trades; referral links can reduce eligible trading fees by about 10%, while referrers may receive revenue share.

building a consumer app is hard… really hard.
fomo has always tried to do things the right way. this often means sacrificing growth and revenue in order to do the harder thing.
we’ve never done things to take shortcuts, such as:
    - points programs
    - paid trading deals
    - fake/inflated incentives
we try everything to make sure users get the best experience, whether this means working closely with infra partners or working to build it ourselves. we pay routers commercially to NOT take positive slippage. we work to get rebates for traders. we pay creator rewards to those who provide value.
we do not get everything right. truthfully, no one does.
the entire team looks at every single piece of feedback daily. we commit to continuously learning & always trying our best. we constantly feel like the product is far from perfect and this is likely a feeling that never goes away when ur building a company.
good things take time. great things take a while.
