Defined Overview

Defined.fi is a crypto trading terminal for token spot markets, perpetuals, prediction markets, and sports markets. It combines token discovery, TradingView charts, wallet tracking, watchlists, and order entry in one interface. The platform settles most cash balance activity in USDC and routes supported trades across networks without manual bridging.

It suits active traders who follow new tokens, wallet activity, perps, and event markets. Users can build custom boards, track wallets and trader positions, set alerts, and place market, limit, or stop orders. The data layer covers more than 40 networks, with trading support that includes Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and BNB Chain. Exact support can vary by asset and should be checked in the current interface.

Defined charges 0.5% for spot trades, 0.025% for perpetuals, and 0.25% for prediction markets. Spot orders have a $5 minimum, with a $0.25 minimum fee on orders below $50. Relay routing costs and gas may apply. The platform often covers gas and priority fees on supported networks, but it does not publish a fixed execution speed or priority fee rate. Perps use Hyperliquid, while prediction markets use connected venues.

Its main difference is the mix of research and execution across several onchain markets. Wallet tracking is available, but a separate copy trading feature is not clearly published. Token safety checks are also not clearly described. Defined uses platform-generated wallets through Turnkey, yet its public material does not clearly state who controls the trading keys. Referral rebates and reward rules may reduce costs, but no fixed rebate rate is published. A mobile app keeps the same account, balances, watchlists, and trading access on iOS and Android.

Defined Key features

  • Multi-Chain Trading

Defined.fi provides data across more than 40 networks. Trading and cash balance activity emphasizes Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, BSC, and other networks supported by Relay.

  • Published Trade Fees

Spot trades carry a 0.5% Defined fee plus any Relay routing costs. Perpetuals cost 0.025%, prediction market trades cost 0.25%, and a $0.25 minimum fee applies to orders under $50. The raw data does not publish a separate sports market fee.

  • USDC Settlement

Primary cash balance trades settle in USDC, mainly on Solana. Cross-chain routing can remove the need for manual bridging on supported activity.

  • Gas Fee Sponsorship

The platform often sponsors gas and priority fees on supported networks. Separate gas payments may still apply, and the raw data does not publish execution speed or fixed priority fee rates.

  • Wallet Tracking

Users can follow specific wallets and traders, view transfer activity, see trade markers on charts, and receive live holding updates.

  • Generated Trading Wallets

Defined.fi creates EVM and Solana wallets for each account. The raw data does not state who controls the wallet keys or whether users can export them.

  • Custom Trading Boards

Users can arrange panels for tokens, perpetuals, prediction markets, watchlists, activity feeds, and charts. Boards can be saved and shared.

  • Organic Token Discovery

Search covers tens of millions of tokens across supported networks. Trending lists use onchain metrics without paid placements, and filters can hide tokens without images.

  • Advanced Charting

TradingView charts include multiple timeframes, technical indicators, drawing tools, and real-time price data. Some views allow users to place or adjust limit orders and alerts on the chart.

  • Order Types

Spot trading supports market, limit, and stop orders with adjustable slippage. Perpetuals support long and short positions through Hyperliquid, with leverage and liquidation details shown in the trading interface.

  • Position Monitoring

A persistent bar or sidebar shows open positions, pending orders, recent activity, rewards, and price alerts. PnL figures include fees for trades placed through the platform.

  • Mobile Trading

The iOS and Android apps share accounts, wallets, cash balances, watchlists, and portfolio data with the web version. Users can trade tokens, perpetuals, and prediction markets from the apps.

  • Referral Rebates

Referral and rewards programs can offset trading costs under current account rules. The raw data does not publish a referral rebate rate.

Defined Fees

  • Spot trading fee Spot token trades carry a 0.5 percent Defined fee, plus any Relay routing costs.
  • Perpetuals fee Perpetuals trades through Hyperliquid carry a 0.025 percent fee.
  • Prediction market fee Prediction market trades carry a 0.25 percent fee.
  • Minimum order fee Spot orders have a $5 minimum size, and a $0.25 minimum fee applies to trades under $50.
  • Referral rebates Referral and rewards programs can offset trading costs under current account rules.

Ngl https://www.defined.fi/tokens @definedfi is a game changer. Much better than DexScreener. Pristine web and mobile experience, and some features I like:
trending based on onchain data, not paid boosts
custom scans and filters which you can save to run again and again for tokens and wallets
    advanced holder metrics
    persistent charting setup
    better UI overall

I can't describe how proud I am of my friends at @definedfi rolling out one of the best, if not the best trading app in the whole ecosystem.
Its powered by Codex, their most advanced Data API.
With an iOS and Andriod App, Its becoming increasingly fast to check and trade.. It's just so great.

Defined Review

Pros

  • It covers token trading, perpetuals, prediction markets, and sports markets in one terminal.
  • Data and token discovery span more than 40 networks, including Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and BNB Chain.
  • Defined charges published rates of 0.5% for spot trades, 0.025% for perpetuals, and 0.25% for prediction markets.
  • USDC settlement and cross-chain routing reduce the need for manual bridging.
  • Gas and priority fees are often sponsored on major supported networks.
  • Wallet tracking shows transfers, trader activity, trade markers, and live holding updates.
  • Custom boards, TradingView charts, limit orders, stop orders, and alerts support active trading workflows.

Cons

  • Spot trades carry a 0.5 percent Defined fee, before any Relay routing costs.
  • The platform generates trading wallets instead of using an external wallet for the main cash balance flow.
  • Execution quality depends on available liquidity and can change during sharp market moves.
  • Perpetuals and prediction markets may require separate deposits into their venues.
  • Some network support and advanced features can differ between the web and mobile apps.

Our verdict

Defined is worth using for active traders wanting multi-chain research and execution. At 0.5% per spot trade, costs bite, while execution speed and priority-fee details remain unpublished. Wallet tracking helps, but copy trading, referral rebates, and token-safety checks lack clear published terms. The platform-generated wallet model limits appeal for traders who require self-custody. I would change my mind after published safety checks, rebate terms, and measured execution data.

Is Defined safe & legit?

Defined.fi was founded in 2021 by Mike Rowe, Braden Simpson, Matt Fikowski, Nathan Lambert, and Derek Binnersley, with backing from Version One Ventures and Mark Cuban. Its multi-year history, Turnkey authentication, Relay routing, and external safety checks support its legitimacy, though that does not remove trading or smart contract risk. No specific red flags are known from the supplied information, but Defined uses platform-generated wallets, and its key custody terms are not clearly published, so users should review them before depositing funds.

Defined FAQ

What fees does Defined.fi charge?
Spot token trades carry a 0.5% Defined fee, plus any Relay routing costs. Perpetuals cost 0.025%, prediction market trades cost 0.25%, and orders have a $0.25 minimum fee, which affects trades below $50. Gas and priority fees are often sponsored, but the trade panel shows the exact breakdown before you place an order.
Which chains does Defined.fi support?
Defined.fi provides token data across more than 40 networks. Trading and cash balances focus on Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, and other networks supported by Relay. The exact trading support can change, so check the current interface before depositing or placing an order.
Is Defined.fi safe, and who controls the trading wallet?
Defined.fi uses Turnkey for authentication and generates EVM and Solana wallets for accounts. The published information does not clearly state who controls or can recover the wallet keys, so users should review the current custody terms before depositing funds. Never share a seed phrase or private key with anyone.
Does Defined.fi check tokens for safety?
Defined.fi provides token metrics, pool data, holder information, wallet activity, charts, and filters that can hide tokens without images. The supplied information does not describe a full scam, honeypot, or contract-audit check, so these tools do not remove smart contract, liquidity, or market risks.
How does Defined.fi compare with other crypto trading terminals?
Defined.fi combines token discovery, wallet tracking, TradingView charts, spot trading, perpetuals, prediction markets, and sports markets in one interface. It can reduce the need to switch between separate tools, but its 0.5% spot fee and generated-wallet model may suit traders less than lower-fee or fully self-custodial terminals.
