World XYZ Overview
World.xyz is a Solana prediction market for trading Yes or No contracts on sports, elections, crypto prices, Fed decisions, and other real events. A contract costs between $0 and $1, and its price shows the market's implied chance. A winning contract pays $1 in CASH. A losing contract pays nothing.
It is built for Phantom users and Solana traders who want event exposure without opening a separate brokerage account. You connect a Solana wallet, choose a market, pick Yes or No, and sign the trade. World routes your order to a market maker instead of matching you on a public order book. You receive the outcome token in your wallet, and winning positions pay out in CASH after the result is confirmed.
The main difference is its wallet-based trading model. World does not keep an idle balance for you, and its Yes and No positions are Solana Token 2022 assets. You can also sell before the event ends if a maker provides a quote. The tradeoff is thinner liquidity, dealer spreads of about 2% to 3%, and less price transparency than a public exchange.
World uses Chainlink data and an automated onchain process for settlement. Solana handles the trades and network fees, so keep a small SOL balance for transactions. World is still a young venue, and many markets have low volume. Use the official Phantom Predictions section or world.xyz, check the market rules, and treat unofficial tokens or claim pages as unrelated.
World XYZ Key features
-
Yes or No contracts
Trade binary event contracts on sports, politics, finance, economics, culture, and crypto markets. Prices range from $0 to $1 and show the market's implied probability.
-
Wallet-first trading
Trade through Phantom or another Solana wallet without opening a separate exchange account. Your wallet signs each transaction and holds the position tokens.
-
Solana settlement
World runs on Solana, where positions, settlement, and maker inventory live. You use CASH for payouts and may need SOL for network fees.
-
Fast fills
Trades settle on Solana within seconds when a market maker provides a quote. Thin markets can create price slippage or leave you without an exit quote.
-
Auto payouts
Winning contracts pay $1 in CASH after the official result reaches the market. The payout goes to the wallet that held the position at resolution, with no manual claim step.
-
Self-custody positions
World does not keep idle funds for you. Yes and No positions appear as Token 2022 assets in your Solana wallet, though those tokens and CASH still carry issuer and program controls.
-
Chainlink resolution
Chainlink supplies event data, while an automated operator writes the result on chain. World does not use a public dispute court or token holder vote.
-
Early cash out
You can sell a position before expiry when a market maker quotes a price. The quote includes market spread, and thin liquidity can make the exit price worse.
-
Outcome tokens
Yes and No contracts use standard Solana Token 2022 assets. You can hold or transfer them, and other programs may be able to use them.
-
Broad market catalog
Markets cover NFL games, soccer, F1, tennis, elections, Fed decisions, finance, and short crypto price windows. Many listed markets still have limited trading depth.
-
Phantom and web access
Trade inside Phantom on supported devices or through world.xyz when the standalone site is available. Use official surfaces because other sites and tokens may copy the World name.
-
Dealer liquidity model
You trade against a market maker through DFlow instead of another retail trader on a public order book. JanusFI is the in-house maker, and BisonFI is a third-party maker.
-
Embedded spread costs
World does not publish a standard maker-taker fee schedule. The main cost sits in the quote, with independent estimates placing the spread around 2% to 3% per fill.
-
Supported payment tokens
Phantom may let you pay with CASH, USDC, or another supported Solana token. Keep a small SOL balance for network fees unless the Cash account path covers gas.
-
Regional access limits
Prediction markets are available only in supported regions. Check the location rules inside Phantom or on world.xyz before connecting a wallet.
World XYZ Fees
-
Maker spread The maker spread is around 2 percent to 3 percent on fills, and you pay it when you buy and again when you sell early.
-
Solana fees Solana network fees in SOL apply when you open, add to, or cash out of a position, unless a Cash account path sponsors gas.
-
Winning payouts World charges no separate claim fee when winning contracts pay out automatically.
-
Volume discounts World has published no volume tier that lowers the spread for larger traders.

How to use World XYZ
-
Check your region
Check inside Phantom or on world.xyz that you can trade in your region. Do not use a VPN to bypass restrictions.
-
Prepare your wallet
Use Phantom or another Solana wallet you control, and add CASH or a supported payment token. Keep a small SOL balance for network fees unless you use a gasless Cash account trade.
-
Open the official app
Open Predictions inside Phantom, or visit world.xyz when the site is available and connect your wallet. Avoid unofficial $WORLD tokens and claim pages, and never share your seed phrase.
-
Read the market rules
Pick an event and read the exact resolution rule. Check the market's close time and the source used to confirm the outcome before you trade.
-
Choose your side
Select Yes or No based on the outcome you expect. Enter an amount you can afford to lose.
-
Review your quote
Check the quoted price and its implied chance, such as $0.62 for 62 percent. Account for the maker spread included in that price and any network fee before you approve.
-
Sign the transaction
Approve the trade in your wallet, then check that you received the Yes or No tokens in the wallet you used to sign.
-
Check an early exit
If you want to sell before resolution, open your position and review the cash out quote. Confirm only if you accept the price, since you need a market maker willing to buy.
-
Wait for settlement
If you hold until resolution, wait for the official result and check the account that was active at resolution for your payout. You receive 1 CASH per winning contract automatically, while losing contracts pay zero.

- You depend on market makers for quotes to exit early.

- Users in restricted regions cannot trade through Phantom.
Our verdict
World.xyz is a Solana prediction market for Yes or No contracts on sports, politics, finance, and crypto events, with winning positions paid in CASH. It does well inside Phantom, settles quickly, keeps positions in your wallet, and sends payouts without a manual claim, but the dealer quotes carry a steep 2% to 3% spread, liquidity is thin in many markets, and resolution gives users little room to challenge an outcome. The anonymous team, upgrade keys, token controls, and CASH issuer risk also ask for more trust than the wallet-first pitch suggests. Use it for small trades if you already use Phantom and want fast Solana event markets, but skip it for large positions or markets where wording and settlement may become disputed.
Is World XYZ safe & legit?
World.xyz was built by an unnamed team and has a documented Phantom integration, which gives it some trust in the Polymarket community, though it is still new and lightly tested. Known risks include anonymous founders, upgrade keys, thin liquidity, maker-controlled quotes, and Chainlink-based resolution with no public dispute process. Fake $WORLD tokens and claim sites are common, and no official token exists.
