MetaMask Prediction Markets Overview
MetaMask Prediction Markets brings Polymarket directly into the MetaMask Mobile app. You can buy Yes or No shares on sports, politics, crypto, finance, and tech events without leaving your wallet. Shares trade between 0 and 1 dollar. If your pick wins, it redeems for 1 dollar after resolution. If it loses, the shares expire worthless.
This feature targets people who already hold crypto in MetaMask and want to trade on real-world outcomes. Active MetaMask users who want swaps, perps, and event contracts in one place get direct value here. Crypto traders with idle EVM tokens can put those assets to work on event contracts. You stay self-custodial the entire time, which matters for anyone who avoids centralized platforms.
One-tap funding handles the heavy lifting. You pick any EVM token like ETH or USDC, choose an amount, and confirm. The system bridges the value into your prediction balance and creates a linked Polymarket account if you do not have one yet. From there, you browse markets inside the Predictions section, filter by topic, tap a market, check the rules and end date, then select an outcome and enter your stake. The app shows your potential payout before you confirm. Open positions appear on the home screen with live unrealized profit and loss, and you can add shares or cash out before resolution at any point.
Settlement runs on Polygon. Correct shares get claimed into your available balance, and withdrawals move USDC.e to your main MetaMask account or settle as mUSD through the Money Account. Gas for claims and withdrawals is covered, so you never need the native Polygon token. Funding works with tokens on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Linea, Polygon, Optimism, and Avalanche.
What separates this from using Polymarket directly is the integration. You skip separate account creation, external funding steps, and app switching. Trading takes two taps inside a wallet you already use. Every qualifying trade also earns MetaMask Rewards points at a rate of 2 points per dollar traded on fee-charging markets.
The tradeoff is cost. A fixed 4 percent fee applies to every trade, split between MetaMask and Polymarket. Polymarket adds a variable taker fee between 0 and 7 percent depending on market type, share price, and trade size. The combined cost appears before you confirm. Going directly to Polymarket avoids the 4 percent fee but requires a separate setup and funding flow.
The feature is unavailable in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Belgium, Poland, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand, Germany, Romania, and other jurisdictions listed in Polymarket terms. You need MetaMask Mobile version 7.73.2 or higher.

After resolution, users claim correct shares into their available balance. They can move funds as USDC.e to Polygon or as mUSD to the Money Account with zero gas fees.

The app processes all trades through the existing MetaMask signing flow. Private keys stay on the device at all times.

The app lists mid-match sports positions and short-horizon crypto questions. Users can react and place trades while the events unfold.

How to use MetaMask Prediction Markets

Open MetaMask Mobile
Open the app and update to version 7.73.2 or higher if needed.

Find the Predictions section
Scroll to the Predictions section on the home screen.

Add funds to predictions
Tap Add funds, then select any EVM token and the amount to deposit.

Confirm the funding transaction
Confirm the transaction. The balance becomes available after bridging, and a Polymarket account is created or synced automatically.

Browse or search markets
Look through markets inside the Predictions section or search by topic.

Review market details
Tap a market and open the About tab to check rules, volume, and resolution date.

Select an outcome and stake
Pick Yes or No and enter the stake amount. Review the potential return shown on screen.

Confirm the trade
Sign the transaction. The position appears on the home screen with live unrealized profit or loss.

Manage your position
Tap the position to add more shares or cash out before resolution.

Claim your winnings
After the market resolves and the oracle settles, go to Predictions and tap Claim to move winnings into the available balance.

Withdraw your funds
Tap Available balance then Withdraw to move USDC.e to your main account on Polygon or to the Money Account as mUSD. Confirm the transaction.
